Moisturizing Bath Salts

It is important to use solar-dried sea salts for your recipes rather than

table salt. Naturally dried salts retain the rich vitamins, minerals, trace

elements, and amino acids of the sea. Sea salts have a very high

concentration of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and bromide,

minerals essential for healthy-looking skin. These minerals are essential

for healthy skin and naturally alleviate redness, irritation, and swelling,

especially in blemished skin. Soaking in mineral-rich sea salts extracts

toxins from your body and relaxes your muscles. So enjoy a long

moisturizing soak in these replenishing bath salts!

YIELDS: 1 pint

1 ⁄ cups solar-dried sea salt

⁄ cup sweet almond oil

Essential oil blend

What you will need: mixing bowl, spoon, pint jar with lid

1. To Make: Place the salt in the bowl. Stir in the sweet almond oil in

intervals. Add a little, stir, add a little more, stir, until all of the oil is mixed

into the salt. Do the same with the essential oils. Add a little, stir, add a little

more, stir, until all of the essential oils are mixed into the salt.

2. To Store: Store in a sealed jar labeled with contents and expiration date of

6 months.

3. To Use: Draw a bath. When the tub is full, add the bath salts to the water

and swish around. Get in the tub and soak for at least 20 minutes, or longer

to enjoy maximum therapeutic benefits of the active botanical ingredients.

When you are finished soaking, rinse off in the shower to remove the sweat

and toxins you released as you bathed. After a bath is also the perfect time

to use a body scrub , as your skin is softened and easily

exfoliated. Follow with moisturizer if desired.
