Sore Muscle Massage Oi

 This intensive blend of botanicals is perfect for soothing and relaxing your

sore, tired muscles. The carrot seed oil is particularly helpful for reducing

accumulation of toxins in muscles and joints and lessening inflammation

to benefit arthritis and rheumatism relief. Massage this Sore Muscle

Massage Oil onto your neck and shoulders to relieve stress or rub into

sore muscles after a workout for a natural herbal relief.

YIELDS: 8 ounces

⁄ cup extra-virgin olive oil

⁄ cup herbal-infused oil or jojoba oil

⁄ cup sweet almond oil

16 drops carrot seed essential oil

8 drops chamomile essential oil

12 drops lavender essential oil

4 vitamin E capsules

What you will need: funnel, dark-colored 8 ounce bottle with cap

(pump top optional)

1. To Make: Place the funnel over your blending container and add the oils.

Pierce the vitamin E capsules and squeeze the liquid out into the container,

discarding the gel caps. Add the essential oils and shake to blend. You want

your container to have as little air space as possible to help preserve the

oils, and a dark container will help slow the oxidation process of the active

botanical oils.


2. To Store: Label with contents and expiration date. Will keep for up to a

year. Store out of direct sunlight.

3. To Use: Apply to sore muscles and joints as needed.

HELPFUL HINTS

To help prolong the freshness of your natural creations and preserve

the oils, you want your storage bottle to have as little airspace as

possible. Choose a dark container to help slow the oxidation process

of the active botanical oils, which will prolong the product’s shelf life

and maintain the integrity of the active botanical ingredients.
